Description

The University of Massachusetts Lowell (UMass Lowell) is located in the historic, industrial city of Lowell, 25 miles northwest of Boston, along the banks of the Merrimack River. Its urban campus comprises 45 buildings across 4.1 million gsf and 70 acres, on three campuses: North, South, and East. Since 2007, the University of Massachusetts Lowell has been in the midst of a period of rapidly increasing enrollment and dramatic physical growth and transformation. These trends have prompted an active capital program which is now underway.
